World Fashion Week™ (WFW) is the global voice of Fashion, serving as “Olympic Style” platform for the national fashion industries around the World.



As an internationally reaching event and network for trade and fashion professionals, the annual event provides a forum for worldwide exposure and recognition, positioning national brands in the global market.



The first Annual World Fashion Week™ will be host in the City of New York in fall 2011, and will feature top and upcoming fashion designers, models, make-up artist, hair stylist, photographers, buyers, media and professionals representing their nation of origin from over 40 nations, in a celebration of cultural diversity expressed through the artistic movement of Fashion

To Encourage the expansion of world fashion in the fields of goods, services, capital and technology;


To Promote international fashion business relationships and understanding on the principle of fair and free trade among business enterprises and nations;


To Foster the increased participation in the world fashion forum by developed and developing countries alike, particularly with a view to better integrate all countries into the World Fashion, generating employment and economic recovery;


To Provide complete and reliable services for import and export with global coverage utilizing its portfolio of international fashion; 

GLOBAL OBJECTIVES


•To Initiate a process directed to advise government and intergovernmental regulatory bodies;


•To Establish relationships with selected world fashion agencies to provide assistance to members in influencing the expansion of international fashion business. These agencies will include both public and private sector organizations;


•To Stimulate effective rapprochement and cooperation among the international business community in different countries and among the organizations that brings them together;


•To Raise Awareness in the fields of Humanitarian causes, corporate, social and environmental responsibility – “Fashion for Development & Peace” global Campaign, in regards to the WFO-WFW contribution to the eradication of global poverty, joining forcers with the United Nations Missions.

Welcoming Events 2010

The WFO-WFW Continental Welcoming Receptions serves as official presentation to the WFO WORLD FASHION ORGANIZATION and First Annual WFW World Fashion Week New York City 2011 and its global initiatives, to Governmental representatives, international media and the main actors of the Global Fashion Industry.


The WFO-WFW series of event raise awareness of Social, Corporate and Environmental responsibility, while building bridges of cultural understanding between nations. “Fashion for Development and Peace” global campaign will be launched.
