PUBLICATIONS AND RESOURCES


All WFAs receive numerous publications and materials to assist them in developing and operating their programs and to keep them in touch with what the WFA and other WFAs are doing.


Networking

All the WFA members are part of a global family with common objectives. Learning from and helping one another has been a common theme among WFA members since the beginning, and it is one of the WFA´s biggest strengths.


Reciprocity

In the WFA, every member of a local WFA is automatically a member of all WFAs. This greatly helps the local membership marketing efforts of each WFA, and it vastly increases the amount of services that WFAs can offer their members. Reciprocity links all other WFA members for support in providing services to their local members. The WFA reinforces this policy by the issuance of a ?WFA® Global Membership Card®

     

Reciprocity includes :

  1. * Group Trade Missions for Fashion, with the cooperation of other WFAs, include such services as: locating partners, agents/distributors, setting up business meetings, government meetings, protocol, meeting the visiting delegation at the airport, helping with hotel discounts, etc.

  2. * Matchmaking - WFAs use each other to sell their member's products and services. They match visitors from other WFAs with their own membership.

  3. * Posting trade opportunities for fashion on individual web sites and publicizing them in local papers.

  4. * Hosting exchanges of business visitors etc.

  5. * Offering fashion trade information on both local marketplaces and WFA members.
