How Does WFA Works For You?


I. WFA FINANCIAL SUPPORT for Association Member


On condition that the Association Member should comply with the rules, regulation and Constitution, fulfilling its responsibility toward WFA as a member, WFA (World Fashion Association) may provide the Association Member with direct financial supports such as:


  1. * The revenues generated by WFA´s affinity partnership programs for its WFA members;

  2. * Donation and stipends from international organizations, foundations and funds:

  3. * Membership fees so as to enable the Association Member to meet its own operational expenses as well as its financial obligations vis-à-vis WFA.

  4. * WFA´s financial resources, including but not limited to the following;


WFA Stocks in the Group of World Fashion Week-World Fashion Awards® and their subsidiaries, for-profit company group.

The WFA is the owner of shares of stock in several companies and joint ventures that mainly provide an international fashion service. WFAs stock has potential to grow in value. This stock is held for the benefit of the members and while there cannot be any direct allocation of the stock or the proceeds of a sale to the members, because of the not-for-profit status of WFA, any sums realized from the sale of this stock can be used for purposes which advance the mission of WFA and its members.

         


Revenues on WFA® Network


World Fashion Association´s fashion service, internationally well known services being commonly referred to as WFA® Network, is conceived by WFA and mainly provides an international fashion service for WFA members. In furtherance of the objects and purposes of WFA, each WFA is encouraged to establish the international fashion online and offline service platform incorporating its local corporate and individual members within the frame of WFA® Fashion Platform according to such guidelines as are developed by WFA. Each WFA member which has such an international fashion service platform shall or shall cause its online and offline service platform to offer and extend the use, privileges, and facilities thereof on a reciprocal basis to other WFA members. Any WFA member which does not join the WFA® Network may be deemed not to be advancing the purposes of WFA and its membership may be subject to termination pursuant to WFA Constitution and Charter.
